Alrighty then

Another exam down. Ah yes.

I got my first paycheck for being a delivery whore today. It felt nice, because tips are already a pretty good chunk of money for a night's work. The loss of both friday and saturday nights might start taking a toll on the week.

Hooray!

Good grades are good. I have a good feeling about a recent exam. Not a normal thing for me. It's nice. Not too much effort either.

D.P. Dough strikes again! Working during the week is boring, no drunkies tipping me with beer. I think I saw someone getting in trouble last weekend, when they offered me a beer in their dorm, I pocketed it, and walked out the door to see the RA just about to come into that very room. Ah, well. I got my road soda!

Having extra spending cash is a wonderous, magical thing, with which I was not all too familiar with until recently. Woohoo!

I did officially give up on finishing the MQP, via e-mail. Looks to be a spring thing. Bodes well on the workload for now.

Thirsty day ending in y

Slept all day today. I had a nice dream about something...can't remember what. Woke up around 5 to get to a meeting. Yup. Exam tomorrow morning, I'm gonna get to sleep around now so I can wake up and study for it. Then I have to work on this infernal assembly some more, homework due, you know.

That's about it.

Feeling Strangely Fine

WPI: The soul-sucker. I've almost officially given up on comleting my MQP this term, due mostly to the fact that there aren't enough hours in the week. There's no way I can fail any classes this term, and MQP eats more time and is worth less credit (at this point). I guess I'll have to prolong its existence for a little longer.

I'm beginning to think that I'm making the school out to be harder than it actually is, despite the alarming drop-out rate. Everyone who asks me how it is gets a prompt negative response, but I think that's probably just because I hate it so much. I mean, heck, if I can pass a class that I only attended on test days, that's not a hard class. I feel bad for those people who went every day and still didn't get it. Shame on them. Not only did they waste their money, they wasted their time, too. At least I'm only wasting one thing at a time. Seriously.

And how about those professors that can't organize their lectures, or just can't communicate, or both? I ask you, is it more of a waste to skip a lecture for which you paid $60 in favor of some other productive venture, or to attend said lecture, only to emerge an hour older with nothing to show for it?

I really have to get out of the academic world with the quickness.

Blog, blog, blog it up yeah

Come on, everybody's doing it...

An all-night stint at the hands of work leads me to creating a blog. Strange. What is a blog, anyway? Or, rather, where the heck did that word come from? I'm sure there's a witty explanation just waiting to be expressed to me. Yessireee.

Cool. On with life.
