My gearshift lever broke off at the pivot point. It looks to have been previously repaired... rather haphazardly. There were two tack welds holding the lever on, one of which broke as I was shifting into reverse, followed shortly afterwards by the other when I went to shift into 1st gear. The thing just broke off in my hands.

So, I fixed it.........................


I had my bit driver in my hand, and I was looking at the broken pivot joint....lightbulb
